 MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Associate Professor of English Glenn Taylor has received the Juniper Prize for Fiction from the University of Massachusetts Press for his upcoming novel, The Songs of Betty Baach.

 MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Nine students graduating this spring with an MFA in Creative Writing will read selections of their work in the Milano Room at the downtown library at 7:30 p.m. on April 28.

The WVU Higher Education in Prison Initiative has been awarded three years of grant funding from the Laughing Gull Foundation. This funding will support credit-bearing classes in a maximum-security Pennsylvania state prison. 

Four eminent West Virginia University alumni were appointed to serve the WVU Alumni Association Board of Directors at its fourth quarterly meeting on Friday, June 4. Kamau Brown, Gabrielle St. Léger, Nesha Sanghavi and Monté Williams have been selected to serve six-year terms.
