Meet the May 2025 Graduates
Approximately 1,000 Eberly College students will graduate in May 2025. Meet some of our graduates from across Eberly disciplines.

Students honored as 2025 Outstanding Seniors, Outstanding GTAs and Eberly Scholars
Every year, students from across Eberly College are selected as Outstanding Seniors and Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistants. Eberly Scholars are also chosen annually for a monetary award to help offset the cost of their education as they work to achieve their academic goals. Read about all three groups below.

Seven Eberly faculty members recognized for excellence in teaching, research and service
Each year, Eberly College honors faculty members with its Outstanding Teacher Awards, Outstanding Researcher Awards and the Award for Outstanding Outreach or Public Service. Recipients in each category receive a stipend to help further their research, teaching and service efforts.

Three Eberly Staff Members Recognized with 2025 Outstanding Staff Award
The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences recognized three staff members with its 2025 Outstanding Staff Award. Outstanding Staff Award recipients are nominated by their peers at Eberly College and are selected based on their demonstration of WVU’s core values: service, curiosity, respect, accountability and appreciation.
Top WVU seniors named, 8 honored with 2025 Order of Augusta
Eight remarkable members of the West Virginia University Class of 2025 who have distinguished themselves through academic excellence and by making significant contributions on campus, across the Mountain State and beyond have been honored with the Order of Augusta, the most prestigious University student award.
Most of these students are members of the Honors College and have maintained a 4.0 cumulative grade point average while working toward their undergraduate degrees in a range of disciplines, and all of them are critical thinkers who are poised to address global challenges and drive positive change for a more prosperous society.
The Order of Augusta honorees, who are among 49 students named the WVU Foundation Outstanding Seniors, will be recognized at a drop-in event from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, in Elizabeth Moore Hall, Betty Boyd Lounge.
