Food and Race Online Reading Group: Chapters 5 and 6

Black Food Geographies book coverThe Food Justice Lab, in partnership with the WVU Center for Resilient Communities, is facilitating a month-long conversation on the intersection between race and food. Join them on Fridays throughout October to share lunch and discussions centered on Ashanté Reese’s book "Black Food Geographies" and how the themes intersect with food access and food system development issues faced in Appalachia. "Black Food Geographies: Race, Self-Reliance and Food Access in Washington, D.C." is available online through the WVU Libraries and for purchase through the WVU Bookstore.
