Remembering the Early Modern Witch-Hunts: Strategies of Representation in Europe and North America

The 56th Annual James Morton Callahan Lecture will be given by Dr. Jason Coy, whose lecture “Remembering the Early Modern Witch-Hunts: Strategies of Representation in Europe and North America,” will explore the great witch-hunts from the 1400s until the 1700s and examine the efforts in the United States and Europe to commemorate the victims of witch-hunts in the twentieth century.

Dr. Coy's lecture will be held in a hybrid format with in-person and virtual attendance options. This event is sponsored by the WVU Department of History and is supported by the WVU Humanities Center
