The coursework in this major provides integrative skills to help you connect your learning to your personal and professional goals. B.I.S. majors are eligible to receive F-forgiveness as well as credit for prior learning and work experience.
Credit for Prior Learning
Eligible students may acquire college credit for professional and military experiences via the many credit for prior learning options available through the B.I.S. major. Please discuss with the process of applying for credit with your academic advisor in the B.I.S. program.
F-Forgiveness
The B.I.S. degree offers a unique opportunity of F-forgiveness to students enrolled in the B.I.S. program. Thus, should students join the B.I.S. program and benefit from the F-Forgiveness policy but later elect to transfer to another program, then all Fs that were forgiven will be re-instituted.
