Lea Herron

Grants Administrator

As a Grants Administrator at the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, Lea is here to help faculty at any stage of the grant process, whether locating grant opportunities, reading over drafts at any stage, helping navigate through WVU systems, or simply answering questions.

Available to meet with faculty one on one, with groups of faculty, or to present at department meetings, Lea can consult with faculty at any stage of the grant process. She will even meet with faculty that are just considering the possibility of obtaining funding. Her focus is on humanities, but she will meet with any faculty member.

Lea’s previous experience is in working with large, international, interdisciplinary grants. She worked at the University of Kansas in various capacities for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, the Center for Global and International Studies and the Center for East Asian Studies.

At the University of Kansas, Lea wrote, edited, and collaborated on international and interdisciplinary grants, served in community relations, ran a scholarship program, and helped plan numerous events.
