WVU academic advisers continue to earn recognition, make their mark
WVU Shines at National Academic Advising Conference, Showcasing Excellence and Collaboration in Student Success
WVU made a strong impact at the 2024 National Academic Advising Conference in Pittsburgh, Oct. 27-30, with over two dozen attendees, multiple presenters, and a scholarship winner. Presenters included faculty and staff from several WVU colleges, while Marilyn Munzer from the Statler College earned a scholarship, showcasing WVU’s growing reputation in academic advising. Director of University Advising Joy Carr highlighted the collaborative effort, supported by a WVU-branded bus, which reduced costs and enabled broad participation. WVU continues to gain recognition nationally for its student success initiatives and outstanding advisers.
