Children's Chemistry Show

Join us for 75 minutes of fun, excitement and learning! Hands-on science activities for children will follow the show.

The show is in the tradition of the famous Faraday Christmas Lectures. Michael Faraday was one of the great intellectual giants of chemistry and physics. He believed in teaching science to young people and started the Lecture Series in 1825 as a way to generate enthusiasm for science. We celebrate his noble idea and present a series of chemical demonstrations that will entertain children of all ages.

The event is hosted by WVU's C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry and is free and open to the public.
