Children's Chemistry Show

Presented by the C. Eugene Bennett Department of Chemistry

Join us for 75 minutes of fun, excitement and learning! Hands-on science activities for children (between the ages of 5 and 120) will follow the show. This event is free and open to the public.

The show is in the tradition of the famous Faraday Christmas Lectures. Michael Faraday was one of the great intellectual giants of chemistry and physics. He believed in teaching science to young people and started the Lecture Series in 1825 as a way to generate enthusiasm for science. We celebrate his noble idea and present a series of chemical demonstrations that will entertain children of all ages.

Note: Clark Hall is located on WVU’s downtown campus across from the Mountainlair parking garage on Prospect Street.
