The Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project

The Clothesline Project, hosted by the WVU Research Center on Violence, is an event that brings awareness to the issue of violence against women, men and children. For individuals affected by violence, it is an opportunity to express their experiences and messages anonymously through a decorated t-shirt. This powerful display honors survivors and can aid in the healing process for those who were directly affected and those who have lost someone special to violence.

If you would like to contribute a t-shirt, stop by the Mountainlair on April 15 or 16. Supplies will be provided.

April 15  |  10 a.m. - 1 p.m.  |  Blackwater Room
April 16  |  1 p.m. - 4 p.m.  |  Kanawha Room

Pre-decorated t-shirts may also be dropped off in 307 Knapp Hall. Please drop them off in a plastic bag to maintain anonymity.
