Since 2018, Day of Giving has brought together alumni and friends of the University from all over to participate in this exciting 24-hour virtual event that encourages alumni and friends to support WVU in ways that are most meaningful to them. Day of Giving is more than just another way to make an impact at WVU – it’s a chance to connect with others and share in what makes this University the best place to receive a life-changing education.
Last year alone, the University raised over $15 million from over 5,600 gifts. The Eberly College benefitted from over $180,000 and 200+ gifts from our most loyal and supportive Mountaineers. We know we can surpass last year’s totals, but we can’t do it without your help!
Here are some ways YOU can participate in our Day of Giving and make a lasting impact on the Eberly College:
-
Make your gift, and make it count even more!Choosing to
support the Eberly College during Day of Giving can help Eberly unlock additional
funding through challenge gifts and leaderboards.
-
Spread the word with the power of your own social media presence. Sharing
Day of Giving content leading up to (and on the day of the event) helps spread
awareness and motivates folks to support the College they love.
- Consider your legacy here at WVU. Choosing to include WVU as a beneficiary in your estate plans is an easy and incredibly meaningful way to make a lasting impact on the University, all while having it count toward Day of Giving totals – YOU could be the reason Eberly reaches the top of the charts! Already have WVU in your estate plans, but have yet to notify us? Reach out today and I’d be happy to help.
Your support means the world to us every day of the year, and by making your gift during the Day of Giving, you have an amazing opportunity to have your gift make an even bigger impact on the Eberly College and the University as a whole. No matter how you choose to participate, I look forward to the opportunity to work with you to ensure that you feel confident that you’re supporting what’s most meaningful to you here at West Virginia University.
