Undergraduate Students
Students Seeking Readmission
Dear Student,
I hope that your time away from WVU has been a useful break in your academic career, and that you are now ready to come back with a new perspective on your remaining time in college. It is now time to begin the process of your return, and I have outlined the two simple steps you need to take.
- Readmission: after you have been reinstated, you will need to reapply to WVU.
- Students must complete and submit the undergraduate application. You will need to select “Readmit” for student type when starting a new application.
- Please note that the admissions process can take up to a week. Decisions on readmission are based on your WVU academic standing along with academic work earned at any other institution you may have attended after leaving WVU. You are not required to submit a WVU transcript.
- Advising: you will need to discuss your schedule and your probation contract with me before you can register. We can meet in person or over the phone if you are away from Morgantown.
Please call 304-293-7476 to make an appointment face-to-face or over the phone. After I approve your schedule and your contract, I will lift your advising hold; you will be able to register after priority registration is over.
I am looking forward to our conversation,
Dean Lastinger
