Comprehensive Curriculum Map

A specification or mapping of ‘WHERE’ the learning takes place in the curriculum. Curriculum mapping provides an effective strategy for articulating, aligning, and integrating learning outcomes across a sequence of benchmark courses or other learning experiences. All program faculty should contribute to its creation. Once a curriculum map is produced, reviewing and updating annually, as necessary, should take very little time, unless the program curriculum has been substantially revised. A curriculum map is a chart (  sample template) that shows where in a curriculum each programmatic learning outcome is addressed and evaluated. Some examples are shown here –  curriculum maps.
