Earlier this semester, a group of undergraduate and graduate students in Eberly College’s School of Social Work traveled to the West Virginia State Capitol to attend Social Work Advocacy Day, hosted by the WV chapter of the National Association of Social Workers.

Leslie E. Tower, director of the Women’s Resource Center and professor and assessment coordinator for the School of Social Work, is the recipient of the 2023 Council on Social Work Education Feminist Scholar Award.

Richmond is working with Legal Aid of West Virginia on its strategic plan to improve statewide community access to legal services.
