Graduate Fellowships
The Eberly College is committed to attracting the highest quality graduate student in a competitive market. We select innovators and leaders to become graduate students at WVU. They are involved in groundbreaking research, mentoring undergraduate students, and creating a body of work that will advance scholarship here at WVU and in their future careers. Join us as we:
- Create a series of new graduate student stipends that will allow the College to supplement the basic salary for those students who are teaching introductory level courses, overseeing laboratory learning, or assisting professors with large classes.
- Dedicate resources that will assist our graduate students in their development as professionals, including support for research and conference presentation.
Undergraduate Scholarships
As part of our commitment to research initiatives, Eberly has created a special, undergraduate scholarship program to support students in the STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). Providing competitive scholarship support for outstanding in-state and out-of-state students will improve our ability to attract the most qualified, and highest caliber students to our programs.

Innovative Leadership

White Hall
Continuing the exciting trend of capital building and campus revitalization at WVU, White Hall will become the new home of the Department of Physics. Your support will provide the best research and instructional facilities with the cutting-edge technology necessary to attract and retain excellent students and faculty. WVU’s commitment to maintaining the historical character of its buildings ensures a modern facility that respects the history and tradition of the many students in the Department of Geology and Geography and the College of Mineral and Industrial Resources who have called White Hall home.
